Oreo Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 12 Oreo cookies

Instructions

  1. Combine the heavy whipping cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk by hand until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture thickens slightly.
  2. Place the mixture in your ice cream maker and churn following the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. While the ice cream is churning, crush the Oreo cookies into small pieces.
  4. Transfer the ice cream into a freezer-safe container. Do this in layers while sprinkling the Oreo crumbles in between.
  5. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight, or until firm.
