Description
This super easy 5 Minute Creamy Hummus is delicious and will get you thinking twice before grabbing a store-bought container!
Ingredients
- Chickpeas – 2 (15oz) cans.
- Chickpea Can Juice – 1/4 cup reserved.
- Garlic Cloves – 2 peeled.
- Tahini Paste – 1/4 cup.
- Lemons – 1.5, juiced.
- Cumin – 1 tsp or to taste.
- Salt – 1 tsp or to taste.
- Olive Oil – 1 tbsp and more for drizzling.
- Parsley – 2 tbsp, chopped.
Instructions
- Drain and rinse chickpeas reserving 1/4th cup of the can juices and a few chickpeas for garnishing.
- Add chickpeas and garlic cloves to a food processor. Pulse for a bit until roughly chopped.
- Add in the reserved 1/4th cup of can juices, lemon juice, 1 tbsp of olive oil, tahini paste and spices. Process until smooth.
- Transfer hummus into a dish. Garnish with reserved chickpeas, olive oil and parsley.
