5 Minute Creamy Hummus


This super easy 5 Minute Creamy Hummus is delicious and will get you thinking twice before grabbing a store-bought container!


  • Chickpeas – 2 (15oz) cans.
  • Chickpea Can Juice – 1/4 cup reserved.
  • Garlic Cloves – 2 peeled.
  • Tahini Paste – 1/4 cup.
  • Lemons – 1.5, juiced.
  • Cumin – 1 tsp or to taste.
  • Salt – 1 tsp or to taste.
  • Olive Oil – 1 tbsp and more for drizzling.
  • Parsley – 2 tbsp, chopped.


  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas reserving 1/4th cup of the can juices and a few chickpeas for garnishing.
  2. Add chickpeas and garlic cloves to a food processor. Pulse for a bit until roughly chopped.
  3. Add in the reserved 1/4th cup of can juices, lemon juice, 1 tbsp of olive oil, tahini paste and spices. Process until smooth.
  4. Transfer hummus into a dish. Garnish with reserved chickpeas, olive oil and parsley.
